I developed a content management system to address the need of having a simple and intuitive program built on the foundation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Utilizing the very popular open-source html editor CKEditor (www.ckeditor.com), I was able to quickly build a system that included all the important meta tags that a page would need. This CMS allows for Main and Sub Navigation and gives the user to option to make pages disabled. The CMS automatically generates an html sitemap, xml sitemap, and allows all content to be spidered by search engines. URL re-writing was also used which allows the website to have "search engine friendly" URLs rather than long tailed endings that don't benefit the search ranking.

The CMS also allows for custom PHP scripts to be embedded onto the page so that the administrator can save the code in the database and have it called when the page is loaded. This feature allows for a much more flexible CMS where the custom php script is contained within the template and is executed when the page loads after it is extracted from the database. The search, sitemap, and contact pages are examples of these found on this website.
